Welcome to the District 75 Debates website, a site for teams to stay up to date, for students to document their experiences, and for teachers to access resources. We invite a spirit of healthy competition by encouraging students to post their thoughts and comment on each others’ ideas.
Background:
The District 75 Debate Program is the only league of its kind in the nation. Since its inception in 2005, students in special education programs throughout New York City have competed in online debates using cutting-edge video conferencing technology. Both middle and high school teams compete online during the regular season in preparation for the annual in-person District 75 Debate Championships.
