Armed Teachers Against Terrorists
Speaking of armed police, what do you think about arming teachers in places that need to protect themselves against terrorists attacks in schools? In Afghanistan, teachers are being trained to carry and use guns. This comes after 150 school children were murdered by Taliban terrorists. Round One Wrap-up
Thank you to all of the teams for a strong finish to Round One! The Round Two topic and calendar will be out shortly, so please submit any suggestions for debate topics to Cara by Monday. All teams debate in Round Two, but it takes at least one win to make it to Round Three, when the eliminations begin.

New Year, New Headings
After many years, we decided to update the headings on the website. Each page showcases a debate team in either full swing during a debate, or proudly showing off their year-end awards at the live finals in June. Perhaps you recognize some students from years’ back?

Thank you to the 36K Debaters of the Future and the 224 Q Shurgan Knights (named after their former Debate Coach!) for kicking off the 2014-2015 Debate season and inaugurating our brand new online debate room. It is good to be back!
